Find out in a LIVE session as the Texas Cooperative Inspection Program and USDA perform a live grading of limes and discuss the common defects, how to score limes correctly, how to best view shades of green and yellow, and all the nuances that have driven one of the fastest growing fresh produce commodities in America.

Education Speakers: Aron Sanchez, Assistant Regional Director w/ Texas Cooperative Inspection Program (TCIP) & Joel Garcia, Supervisor w/ TCIP, with USDA AMS on-sight for additional Q&A.

TSA PreCheck: All About the Tomato Suspension Agreement

In June 2023, the 2019 Tomato Suspension Agreement (TSA) governing most to the Mexican-grown tomatoes entering the United States entered a comment period which wrapped up in November 2023 and is currently awaiting a statement by the U.S. Department of Commerce. But that's not all! This Fall (est. Sept 2024), the TSA will enter a Sunset Review Period. What will that mean for tomato buyers and sellers in the United States? And what about the questions about how to handle distressed loads? And minimum floor prices? Even 25yrs into this journey the industry still has questions and we look to answer many of those during this session.
