Non-Refundable Charge for First Night on each Room
On Monday, February 26th, the credit card on file will be billed a non- refundable charge for the first night of each room reserved. As you know, the Viva Fresh Produce Expo is the region’s premier fresh produce event and hotel rooms are in high demand. Unfortunately, in the last few years Viva Fresh has experienced a significant number of room cancellations in the final days before the event, due to “company overbooking”. This is disappointing because Viva Fresh planners want as many attendees to have access to the event hotel as possible. When excess rooms are booked at the event hotel, it requires other attendees to book at overflow hotels. It’s disappointing to learn near the start of the event that many rooms have been released leaving no time for rebooking without other related fees that include both cancellation and contract block expectations. To continue to maintain a best in class show and reduce cancellation exposure costs, Viva Fresh is focused on ensuring as many show attendees as possible can enjoy the Marriott Marquis’s many great offerings!
