The Viva Fresh Produce Expo was created in response to our industry’s need for better opportunities to create meaningful networking opportunities that highlight products and build relationships. This intimate and affordable regional tradeshow replaces the former Texas Produce Convention. Hosted by the Texas International Produce Association (TIPA), the expo highlights the “Gateway to the Americas,” showcasing produce grown in the Southwestern United States and Mexico.
The expo focuses heavily on networking and education, and includes:
- Virtual field tours at farms and facilities in Texas and Mexico
- A supermarket dietician symposium
- The latest in merchandising trends
- A wide range of topics focusing on issues and opportunities with trade between Mexico and the U.S. and the related impacts on both growers and customers
About the Texas International Produce Association
The Texas International Produce Association (TIPA) was created in 1942 to represent the interest of shippers of Texas-grown fruits and vegetables. In 1996, the scope of TIPA was expanded to address the problems and opportunities surrounding the importation and marketing of foreign grown produce. TIPA’s member companies include: growers, shippers, import shippers, specialty shippers, distributors, and material and service providers.
